Description
Master V.3 PLUS/EU-i-3 PLUS Open Therm heating control for 3 mixed and unmixed heating circuits
The PLUS version with extended functions (see below). The new eModule allows full access to all setting parameters.
A modern and energy-efficient house requires several alternative heat sources. However, to achieve real savings...
To be able to communicate effectively, a unified system for managing these systems is required. The control units for heating systems from the company MASTER
enable powerful and efficient control of a system with multiple heat sources (e.g. solar collectors and central heating boilers).
This integration reduces energy consumption. The use of control units in the system facilitates...
Operating all devices saves time and money and ensures comprehensive heating comfort.
The latest version now also supports OpenTherm (OT)
OpenTherm (OT for short) is a protocol developed for controlling central heating systems using room thermostats. OpenTherm uses point-to-point communication, where the thermostat is typically the master and the heat generator is the slave. Multi-point-to-point communication allows for the interconnection of multiple devices.
OpenTherm is manufacturer-independent. A controller from manufacturer A can communicate with a heating system from manufacturer B.
A digital, bidirectional data exchange takes place between the thermostat (master) and the boiler (slave). Sending status reports and requesting information between the two devices is possible. However, the most common command relates to boiler temperature control. When the boiler receives the setpoint temperature request, it begins to modulate (increase or decrease the heating output) to reach and maintain the setpoint temperature. The room thermostat continuously recalculates the boiler temperature to keep the room temperature at the setpoint. This results in higher energy efficiency.
